PANELS

The core material of panels is high density and load resistant special product “chipboard”. The thickness is applied 30 or 38 mm according to the purpose of use. The standard size of the panels is 600x600 mm.
If required, it can be produced with 400x600 mm special size and
with the understructure stringer or without it. The angle on the edge of panels not only provides easy fitting but also provides easier access to the system under the floor.

 


Top Surface Coverings:


One of the most important features of the raised floors is providing
rich covering alternatives. By covering the surface of chipboard with
a variety of materials such as laminate, pvc, aluminum sheet or foil,
sheet steel and carpet, users’ needs are met totally.

 


Bottom Surface Coverings:


The material used at the bottom of the panel changes according to the class of required load. There are alternatives as 0,5 mm thick sheet steel, 0,2 mm thick aluminum sheet or 0,05 mm thick aluminum foil, according to their high resistance, protection against moisture, conductivity or antistatic features.

 


Panel Tests:


Formfloor marked panels have been tested and approved by the
expert foundations in our country and abroad. Load bearing,
fire-resistance, corrosion-resistance, electrical conductivity and
antistatic features have been certified by institutions like England
authorized laboratories, METU and TSE.
Our company keeps on research and developing activities in its own
laboratories.

• All experiments are carried out in accordance with EN 12825 Standard.


• The working load is evaluated by dividing the ultimate load to the k=3 safety factor.


• Residual deflection, permitted by the Standard, is 0,5 mm at most.


• All panels’ dimensional deviation class is 1.


• Load bearing tests are carried out on 32 cm height systems without stringers.

CLASSES OF LOAD AND DEFLECTION ACCORDING TO
EN 12825 STANDARD:

Laminated Covered Panels (HPL)

Core Material : According to the desired load capacity, 30 or 38 mm thick and min 650 kg/m3 density chipboard is used.


Top Covering : 1 mm thick, overlay covered HPL laminate resistant to abrasion.


Bottom Covering : Depending on the needs, 0,5 mm thick sheet steel, 0,2 mm thick aluminum sheet or 0,05 mm thick aluminum foil are used.


Edge Covering : 0,4 mm thick hard PVC. It can be applied in colors appropriate to the top covering.

PVC Covered Panels

Core Material : According to the desired load capacity, 30 or 38 mm thick and min 650 kg/m3 density chipboard is used.


Top Covering : In various thicknesses and as appropriate to the aim, PVC can be used in features like homogeneous, heterogeneous, antistatic, conductive, linoleum, etc.


Bottom Covering : Depending on the needs, 0,5 mm thick sheet steel, 0,2 mm thick aluminum sheet or 0,05 mm thick aluminum foil are used.


Edge Covering : 0,4 mm thick hard PVC. It can be applied in colors appropriate to the top covering.

Galvanized Sheet Steel Covered Panels

Core Material : According to the desired load capacity, 30 or 38 mm thick and min 650 kg/m3 density chipboard is used.


Top Covering : 0,5 mm thick sheet steel. It is used in places where high resistance required, and is suitable for covering with carpet.


Bottom Covering : 0,5 mm thick sheet steel.


Edge Covering : 0,4 mm thick hard PVC.

Aluminum Sheet/ Foil Covered Panels

Aluminum Sheet
 

Core Material : According to the desired load capacity, 30 or 38 mm thick and min 650 kg/m3 density chipboard is used.


Top Covering : 0,2 mm thick aluminum sheet. It is an ideal solution for bare or carpet covered places.


Bottom Covering : Depending on the needs, 0,5 mm thick sheet steel, 0,2 mm thick aluminum sheet or 0,05 mm thick aluminum foil are used.


Edge Covering : 0,4 mm thick hard PVC.

Aluminum Foil
 

Core Material : According to the desired load capacity, 30 or 38 mm thick and min 650 kg/m3 density chipboard is used.


Top Covering : 0,05 mm thick aluminum foil/0,2 mm thick aluminum sheet is generally used in places to be covered with carpet.


Bottom Covering : Depending on the needs, 0,5 mm thick sheet steel, 0,2 mm thick aluminum sheet or 0,05 mm thick aluminum foil are used.


Edge Covering : 0,4 mm thick hard PVC.

Understructure

No collapse for the pedestals under four times the working load according to the Standard EN 12825.

M14 Technical Features

M14 tech feat. 1

1. Pedestal Base: It is made of 2 mm galvanized steel plate with the 100x100 mm square riveted to a M14 threaded rod.

2. Nut M14: At heights of 80 mm and above, it is used for adjusting the pedestal height and fixing it at required height by its special locker

3. Pipe: It is a galvanized steel pipe with a thickness of 1,5 mm and diameter of 25 mm pressed to the pedestal head.

4. Pedestal Head: It is made of 90 mm diameter and 3 mm galvanized steel plate. It provides fixing the stringers easily and is produced in a suitable shape to lock the pedestal head and stringers. If required, a second fixing can be done using the screw fastener.

M14 tech feat. 5

5. Head Gasket: 3 mm thick square plastic gasket is located on pedestal head and prevents sliding and noise which can occur during the contact of panel and metal pedestal. If conductivity is required in the system, a conductor head is additionally located on the head gasket.

M14 tech feat. 6&7

6. Stringer: It is made from 1 mm thick galvanized steel plate. “U” shaped stringer’s dimensions are 25x26x25 mm. Production of the stringer system for use in the panels of 600x600 mm and 400x600 mm is possible. 7. Stringer Gasket: Made of 1 mm thick plastic and located on the stringers the stringer gasket prevents the sliding and noise that can occur during the contact of stringers and panel.

8. Screw Fastener: It is an M6 galvanized screw used for fixing the stringer and the pedestal head.

9. Locking Nut: It is used for 40 mm height pedestals and made of 3 mm thick galvanized steel plate. It provides fixing the pedestal height.

10. Plug Nut: It is a M14 threaded special nut used for adjusting height for 40 mm pedestals.
